Our story
The story of our eyecare company starts with one doctor – TheraTears® founder Dr Jeffrey P. Gilbard, M.D. As a young medical student at Columbia University in 1976, he met his first patient suffering from dry eyes and was struck by the lack of treatments on offer. In that moment, he made it his goal to find a solution.
